New License Plates Commissioned for
Connecticut!
Introduction:
Governor Malloy has decided to commission a new license plate for the State of Connecticut. Second-grade Burr students have been asked to create this license plate, which will reflect the many wonderful sites in our beautiful state.
The Task:
You will need to take a virtual tour of our state to become an expert on Connecticut. You will work with a partner to discover the many possible attractions and interesting facts that you could use to create a license plate for Connecticut. You will research these Connecticut attractions and facts and take notes in a WebQuest Journal. Then, you will work with your partner to create a new license plate based on your notes about Connecticut. You will discover many interesting and important facts about Connecticut, including:
